Your Support Makes a Difference

Hello The Caregiver Club,

I am at a loss of words writing this email and overwhelmed by the generosity I received in the mail. I just want to say a big THANK YOU for the generous gift. I’m in shock. God bless you as individuals and your amazing organization. I appreciate my boyfriend for the nomination and I feel blessed to have been picked. As you know, caregiving is no easy task and it can weigh very heavy. I take everything day by day and am thankful to know there’s organizations like yours, looking out for people like me. My boyfriend and I have been caring for my dad who has dementia for a couple of years now and we do our best to navigate the journey. As a young caregiver, I struggle with my position and balancing everything, all whilst watching my dad endure his battle. Caregiver burnout is very real and I intend on using this gift for a mini vacation for Manuel and I because we really need it. I’m blessed to be able to have the ability to care for my dad and spend time with him but it can be difficult for me as well, so just the fact that we’ll be able to take a little break is such a sense of relief.  I really can’t thank you ladies enough for what you have done for me, but I plan on paying it forward one day. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Kind regards,

Seanna Izar

Someone in the world develops dementia every 3 seconds. In 2020 the World Health Organization estimated that 55 million people have dementia, and by 2030 it is expected to rise to 78 Million. In the United States, 6 million Americans live with Alzheimer’s, and 1 in 3 seniors die with Alzheimer’s or another dementia. They are killing more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.

The numbers are staggering. As memory loss and dementia sweep the nation, the caregivers are left shouldering the majority of the burden. The Caregiver Club® is here for them. We are here to support, love, understand, and validate all caregivers of dementia and Alzheimer’s individuals. It is a 24/7 job to watch over and care for someone with dementia. We believe they need as much support as possible.

We could not offer this support without the generosity of our donors and partners. Through this generosity, we can do what is needed to offer this support.
